Eric Liddell - success

"In the dust of defeat as well as the laurels of history, there is glory to be found if one has done his best." - Eric Liddell ― 1924 Olympic Gold Medalist, Missionary

Often we are worried about failure. Failure is the haunting dream than the nagging dream of success. We hesitate to initiate because of the fear of failure.
I used to remind my audience in motivational seminars: “expect the best and be ready for the worst.”
All lived in this world have tasted at least once the bitter teeth of failure.
The way we look at failure is important. Failure is a myth. It is not a final verdict. It is only the unexpected outcome. It is only the unintended result.
Where can we find solace in failure?
If we have done our best, it is always success.
Every endeavor is measured by the effort we have put in it.
We kept the rules, persevered and work hard.
That is success.
